

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker my passion for mental health and well being runs deep. I am community and clinically driven. My post-graduate experience began in community mental health serving women, families and individuals dealing with substance abuse, grief and trauma. I led bi-weekly women's groups for the Center for Black Women's Wellness and I fell in love with this work because it allowed me to connect with a community of black women at a deep level, laying the groundwork for deep healing.
I further expanded my clinical practice treating a wide array of psychiatric diagnoses. Additionally, I am a certified anxiety treatement professional and help hundreds of individuals cope with and manage anxiety, depression and ADHD on a daily basis.
I specialize in treating mood, emotional and executive functioning disorders, trauma processing, stress management, life transitions, boundary and goal setting for black women.
Whether you’re navigating a major change, healing from a difficult past, or learning how to honor your needs, I offer a therapeutic space that is warm, collaborative, solutions oriented and empowering. I use evidence-based practices—including trauma-informed therapy, mindfulness and Cognitive/Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
